What time is the show open?
The gates open at 8am and the Show closes at 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday. All trade stands and concessions are open until 6pm on both days.
Where can I buy Lincolnshire Show Tickets?

How much do tickets cost?

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome at the Lincolnshire Show provided they are kept on a short, fixed lead at all times.
Only guide dogs are allowed in eating areas which includes The Epic Centre and The Food Court.
Dogs are very welcome in animal areas but cannot enter livestock marquees or buildings.
Please do not leave dogs in cars.
Is parking free at the show?
Parking is free and all the car parks are within reasonable accessibility of the entrance gates.
Cars displaying a disabled badge will be directed to the forward car park areas with easier access to gate entry.
Members parking is in Red car park, access by A15 and through Gate 6 (Burton Road).
Can I be a member of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society?
Membership of the Agricultural Society is open to all and can be purchased pre-Show, allowing access to the new Members car park and the exclusive Member areas housed in The EPIC Centre.

Membership can be purchased on the days of the Show, and you will be given a refund on your entry ticket by the team at the information desk within the EPIC Centre.
Is there a Bus Service?

What if I come in a taxi?
There is a one way system operating on the roads around the Showground but taxis can use gate 6 (Burton Road) for both dropping off and picking up.
What security measures do you have in place?
We would like to reassure all attending The Lincolnshire Show that visitor safety is a number one priority for us and we work with the Police to continually review the show.
We have robust event management and contingency plans which cover a vast number of different scenarios that have been created in conjunction with the Police and other official bodies.
Although there is no intelligence to indicate an increased risk at the show, the Police are continually monitoring the situation and we are taking their advice and guidance. We ask our visitors to help us out with the following specifics:
• Please be ready to show all your tickets, passes or badge when asked.
• Please ensure that if you have a vehicle pass, it is correctly displayed in your windscreen before approaching the carpark/showground entrance.
• Please report anything suspicious to, the police, a steward or Showground staff member.
• Please help us by complying swiftly with any requests from stewards or staff member.
Why is the Lincolnshire Show midweek?
The Lincolnshire Show is traditionally an agricultural show, and over its 139 year history, it's something that has remained really important to us.
We understand that some people work midweek, and that children are at school and because of that, not everybody can attend. We work with schools across the county on the Schools' Challenge, educational trips and tours and welcome over 5,000 school children each year, and we encourage parents that would like to bring their children along to speak with their school as the Lincolnshire Show is widely thought of as an educational event.
If we were to move the Show to weekend dates, it would be a very different type of event as we wouldn't have the same high level of agricultural and trade support. Unfortunately, many shows that have moved to weekends no longer take place, or with significantly reduced visitor numbers.
Can I hire electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs?
Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.

Online bookings must be made at least two days before the event.
Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.

How accessible is the Showground?
The Showground has a lot of hard standing and tarmac roads to facilitate access. Toilet facilities across the Showground are accessible for those with mobility issues.
We have a Changing Places toilet located in our EXO Centre opposite the Epic Centre.
In addition, we have Event Mobility, who hire out mobility scooters on-site in both the Brown and White car parks.

What facilities do you have for babies and young children?
We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly event, and we do all we can to assist families with babies or young children. The Showground has a lot of hard standing and tarmac roads to facilitate pushchair access. Each of our toilet blocks, the facilities within the Epic Centre and the additional disabled facilities we have on-site for the Show all have baby changing facilities.
What's the show policy on access for carers?
The Society does not wish to discriminate against visitors with disabilities, so the full admission rate will be charged. However, if a visitor has a full-time carer, a free ticket is available for them at the time of purchasing a standard price visitor ticket. This concession is available by applying in advance.
Advanced Carers tickets can only be applied for in advance of Tuesday 11th June by email. Applications beyond this date will not be considered.
We are accepting Carer tickets on the day with one of the below documents from any of our pay booths. You must purchase at least one non-carer ticket on the day for this free ticket to be issued.
Documentation Required
One of these is required to apply
- Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- A valid Blue Badge
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted
- A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card
- Credibility’s Access Card with +1 symbol
- A personal letter from GP, community nurse or social worker
- War pensions mobility allowance
Where can I buy a programme?
Show Guides will be available to buy from booths near the entry gates or along the Livestock and Equine lines.
The catalogue, giving full details of the entries for Show competitions and classes, is available from the same outlets.
Can I get cash at the Showground?
There will be two cash machines during the Show days. We always recommend that visitors bring both cash and card to the Show as some exhibitors will accept one and not the other.
Where can I buy food from?
We have a whole host of food concessions around the Show selling different types of hot and cold foods
The choices include fish and chips, stone baked pizzas, hot dogs, sandwiches etc. In addition, we have the Food Court sited off Tenth Avenue where you can purchase your favourite treats, including lots of produce from Lincolnshire suppliers. The Stockmans' tent in the Countryside Area is also open to members of the public.
What is the Dress Code for Members & Vice Presidents?
The Members and Vice Presidents area at the Lincolnshire Show follows a dress code policy and members must adhere to the relevant code to attain access.
Members
Members must wear smart attire (collared shirts and smart trousers- tailored shorts are permitted).
Fashion style trainers and converse style shoes are permitted.
Sportswear (inc. trainers & leggings) and blue or denim jeans are not permitted in the members area.
Vice Presidents
Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie in the Vice Presidents Area.
Ladies – Skirts, summer dresses or tailored trousers are encouraged.
Children
Children should also dress smartly.
Safety and Security
We want you to have a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience at the Lincolnshire Show. We work closely with the Police to ensure your safety and security and have a range of measures to help you keep safe and secure. These include our extensively trained security teams, bag searches, as well as other measures not so visible.
Our stewards are there to keep you safe and are always on the lookout for those who need assistance, so don’t be surprised if they pop up and say hello.
If you see anything unusual, trust your instincts and report it immediately to anyone of our many stewards, staff or security team.
Where can I find First Aid?
St John Ambulance will be located on 8th Avenue, West Side of the Epic Center and next to the Society Offices.
Lost Property
During the show, lost property can be taken to or collected from the Rotary Stand on 10th Avenue, between the EXO Center and Toilet Block 5.
What is the best route to the Showground?
We recommend using either the AA or RAC route planners on the day to ensure you can follow the latest travel updates. There is also a diversion on A631 that we encourage you research before setting off.
